Wow. Just wow. So different from 'The Sprout and The Bean' I love both songs, but musically this just blows it away! I had no idea she could sing this beautifully. She is usually much more grating.

oh my gosh Joanna Newsom is one of THE BEST live performer EVER!!!!! HANDS DOWN!!!!!!
Talk about a creative genius. Joanna is such and original thinker, I've always loved her but she truly showed her range of musical ability in this new album.

My fav track of her new album, starts so melancholy and then takes you to a place you dont wanna leave.
I hate live performances though, they sound so washed out (natural reverb).

I saw her in a pissy little Sydney venue called the Metro. It would have been something to see her at the Opera House

As awesome as she was at the Sydney Opera House, I'd love to see her in a smaller venue like the Metro as well. Just as long as the audience kept their mouths shut. The Metro is usually a very chatty venue.
