  • Hey bro is that a sub octave you're playing with ?

  • @ismaeel313 yea man. Boss OC-2, older one, crunchy. that's the only pedal I use other than a wah.

  • I'm enjoying the music and it's making me think. Got a name of drum track playing behind you?

  • @dreamsnicotine haha that's a really cool thing to say man thanks.. nah it was a loop of a 'beats' CD I bought years ago, it's some wicked weird loop, I rarely hear loops of beats with cymbals like that

  • @danyjr and muted persussive things which have some overtones but can't be said to have one actual dominant overtone that could be called a "note", etc etc.. really, being definitive is often counter-productive. with language, anyway. I mean language evolves to encompass or better explain things, you're doing the opposite. not everything is a "note". it isn't nearly that simple. that's why people play stringed instruments. aftertouch, sliding between notes almost silently..sky's the limit :)

  • @danyjr maybe. "note" implies not tonal quality but speicifically *notation* of such. a "tonal" quality is subjective to the human ear. and even age range. teenagers hear tones that elderly people do not, "so they call it "noise" ..just kidding.. but really, a bending tone is not exactly a note, and some can't be notated very well, and..... some tones are integrated with noise or things which _even you_ may not call tones, which is why people who have "tabs" for Jimi Hendrix are stupid-.. .....

  • @fatchants anything with a tonal quality is a note.

  • What a fucking awesome tune man!! im impressed!! Going to favorites

  • @jakeyboy2929 it's not right in front of it but it's loud enough for and is just feedback, tho other vids I have here have much more/better feedback than this one

trick is to turn your tone controls down and find a place where it doesn;'t break up into a squeak.. if necessary (if you don't have a Mesa-Boogie amp, maybe), you may need to crank the mids or use a notch eq (I mean like a pedal but boost only 700Hz, and if anything cut some 2kHz)

I lived with amp in same room till I got it right

  • you Sound gone :8-o ...Awesome stuff..aww it stopped B-(

  • so your just using your amp to get this feedback? is the guitar near the amp or infront of it by the way? i just find that its hit and miss to get feedback like the longer sustain you got. Would love to get it right all the time
