I recently read a local minister's column in my local newspaper, and there was a great line in there. "When we don't forgive what God has already forgiven, in a subtle way we are setting ourselves above him, pretending we know more than he does about the grace of forgiveness. We are not judge, jury, and jailer, even over ourselves."Jesus! The name that charms our fears, that bids our sorrows cease; 'tis music in the sinner's ears, 'tis life, and health, and peace."
Great show! I have struggled much with this in the past, even not forgiving myself for things I had no control over. I listened to Satan, even people around me who told me I was not worthy, that no one could love me. I couldn't look in the mirror and find good about myself. When I realized hating myself was making a mockery of the Cross, I stopped. We can be sad and still have joy.Joy is not a feeling, but a state of being, knowing that we have a Savior, and He is there every moment of our lives.

Thank you for this...I needed it. I was so tired of blaming myself for everything, forgetting to give it all to God.
Bless both of you for talking about this/
