I'm Beginning to See the Light from the album SENTIMENTAL JOURNEY recorded around 1964-1965 is a great song, sung with perfect diction and in the intimate style which is Doris's signature. Not to forget on the same album AT LAST, THE MORE I SEE YOU (Wow!!), SERENADE IN BLUE....With Doris it's always a sentimental journey. I'm very happy to see that a lot of people like Doris Day and her songs, even me in Switzerland so far away from the United States....Thanks again, Dayniac, we love you.

@ForEverGilda This is one of my all time favorites from Doris ! Love it !! It is amazing the number of people that love Doris. She still receives a huge amount of mail. Before her son passed away, he said she received as much as she did while she was still in Hollywood. That is amazing ! I'm so happy you're enjoying some of my video's. She's not just up there with them... she went beyond them. This is way better than their versions. If you've never seen that movie with her and Kirk Douglas, where Kirk is a trumpet player that winds up marrying a vicious Lauren Bacall and spirals downwards, and Doris is a singer who bucks him up, I highly recommend it. She sings some great stuff in it all throughout the movie.

@BloxorzWizard I have to agree with you ... in my view - she is at the top. I know not every one agrees with that. I think she deserves much more credit than she gets. I've never figured out why she is overlooked. Her son Terry said that her movie career took over and got bigger than her music career. And I think Marty had a hand in it too ... he channeled her career in a direction she probably wouldn't have gone with another agent. Yes - she sings some great songs in Young Man With A Horn.
