X-Plane Demo. First Impressions

Hey, ive taken a turn on this video.

recently there has been a lot of hype surrounding X-plane since MS axed the ACES development team for MSFS.

I decided to have a go with the demo to see what its all about..

My first thoughts were -

1)Great frame rates
2)Cool looking sloped and uneven runways
3)Pretty good flight dynamics
4)...

In my eyes there werent anymore. The plane models are pretty poor and textures are nothing to be amazed by. The scenery is good, but ive seen better and some textures appear blurry.

Im sure with a Joystick (bearing in mind in flying with a mouse and keyboard) and the full 60 gigabites (Yes, im serious. Its a butt-load of scenery) of scenery would have some difference, but my experience here hasnt made me change my mind.

The video itself is a quicky. Took less than 5 mins and i only used Windows Moive Maker..i wasnt bothered to auctually edit in Vegas.

Just wanted to share my thoughts with you guys!

@xLilxDemyx Not too sure, i dont know of any sites to download planes for xplane. ask about fs9/fsx and i can tell you alot :P

They should replace yokes and rudder pedals with a mouse and keyboard. Then will get A lot of intersting landings.

dude bad takeff u need to reach at least 250 knots so u can take off or else the plane isnt gonna catch enough airspeed
