Boycott Call of Duty (MW2)

Yes people, Modern Warfare 2 has introduced several new multiplayer changes that bring the PC to a console level. Matchmaking, DLC with a price tag, and a Halo style multiplayer tech changes that will turn COD's MP experience into a Halo party style. 10 year olds blasting rap music anyone? Because you meaning a level 1 will drop you with new comers. No dedicated servers means you can not choose which map you want to play on. Thus making it more like that -other- game. There is NO doubt that this game will be fun, and enjoyable. BUT you must remember the ideas behind this. IW, whether they know it or not, will make other dev teams think this is OK. PLEASE SPREAD THIS WORD. 11/10 is coming quick. Cancel pre-orders, and tell a friend to tell a friend.

Console's need priced DLC because the content needs to go through the PSN or XBL. But straight to the internet costs NOTHING. Dev teams need to quite this DLC trend, as expansion packs of 19.99 are being replaced with 10-20 things of

0.99!

whos using the most recently released map pack? wow i find it difficult to believe exactly how really good it truly is! it is way too costly however and so i simply downloaded it right from mw2forfreeYinfo (replace Y with . ) last week. i'm going to use the cash i ended up saving for a different mouse

It gives Infinity Ward the right to close MW2 servers down whenever they want. "Oh, MW2 isn't making money? CLOSE THE SERVERS!"

Basicly, if CoD2 had this crap, you couldn't play it today. (not that the majority of gamers play good games anyway)

i dont understand how not having dedicated servers affects the game. can someone please explain
