This AMBIENT VEENA piece by the french-malagasy artist UJJAYA is opened by blowing the SHANK ( a sacred conch bought in Rishikesh) i.e by awakening the Gods. The first of them that 's going forward is the fire, Agni, you can hear him in the storm.
It's a long 40 minutes piece that contain slow trance rhythmic passages played at the Udu at the right hand as the left hand is playing veena by tapping its neck.
I first play this piece before YOGA practitioners and I keep on thinking they are the most receptive public I have for that music.
