Virtual Wind Tunnel: Mini-Z MR03 3D Streamlines

This is a short video showing the results of a CFD "virtual wind tunnel" simulation of a Mini-Z MR03 3D model resembling a Mazda 787b, racing at 10 m/s (36 km/h). The video shows the air speed streamlines, that is, the theoretical trajectory of particles flowing around the car. In this view, the streamlines are not constrained to a 2D vertical plane. The car and the streamlines themselves are colored according to pressure coefficients (Cp). Red indicates higher pressure areas, blue indicates lower pressure ones.
