New Multi-Meter Tools Fluke 15B, 17В, 18ВSome time ago the Fluke multimeter instruments were considered too costly by most people. Few could afford to spend a significant sum out of the family budget to purchase them. Forget it!The Fluke company has released 3 models of economy-class multimeters, available to every purchaser. Meanwhile, the quality is still up to the mark. All the devices are capable of measuring constant and alternate voltage of up to 1000 Volt, constant and alternate current up to 10А, resistance up to 40 mega Ohm, capacity up to 100 microfarad, and to check the circuit integrity and test diodes. In the model 17B the function of measuring temperature, frequency and the relative alternations is present. The model 18B has the additional function of fast testing of light diodes. Insert the light diode into the special socket on the casing. The light diode will shine if it functions. Its positive lead is shown by means of indicators below. Choose the measuring units by means of the rounded multi-position switch, the measuring range is switched over automatically or manually whatever the user prefers. To retain the display indications press the HOLD button for all the models. The measured values are reflected on the large liquid-crystal screen. All the devices are in a shockproof casing covered by the protective yellow-colored proprietary hood. The device is fed from two type 2A batteries. Measuring probes for the 17B model and a thermocouple are supplied along with the device.
