@Ladybug1923 swiggy58 here---Well said, my friend! I think I was 12 when Fire and Rain came out; and this wonderful man, artist, songwriter has been a part of my lfe every since. But I had to grow up some before I "got" this song also. (Along with quite a few others.)

I didn't really "get" the lyrics to this song until I turned 50.
I quote these lyrics on many birthday cards.
"The secret of life is enjoying the passage of time", absolutely.
