ASA, Aggiornamento Sistema Arma (weapon system update) is the first upgrade in the italian F104S (S for SPARROW AIM-7). Pending the typhoons were another updated whit the ASA-M (modified). Essentially an action to stop them falling apart .....

yes thats right these starfighter went back to his home base at Italy it was a change normally there are two F104 that take part in a TLP mission .
