Good edge angle control, but the cutter could use more control of the overall cut, a single rolled beach mat like this can easily be cut with a swing half the length of the one used.

chinese swords are underused,evryone uses the katana being a samurai/ninja two-handed weapon,when the chinese blade is considered "the gentlemens weapon" with more than combat use,such as defining nobility or a rank in military

To all the comments of the jian i have to say it's good to see that people a truly have a sense of sword and it's use it's truly a dying art! I agree scott rodells stuff's pretty good he's reallt keeping it alive... as for windskar88's comment well put my brother!!! Well put...
