@mysteriousssstranger They are definitely a hybrid of both. They find out that they're protheans because of their DNA, so they're partially organic, but most of the important things were replaced with technology.

for those saying that this vision explains how the reapers changed the protheans, i think your wrong.

Becuz it does not make sence if you think about it, the message was sent by the last survivors and there is no way that they could have know what happend to their ppl in detail. Or else the hologram would have explaind it.
