Dragon Age: Origins - Downside of Alistair Being King

So yeah, I tried to do a different approach by making Alistair king while playing Dragon Age again... any this sad thing happens... sorry if the words can't be seen well. I don't have those fancy cameras or a tripod or a fancy in game recorder. But the dialogue can be heard at least X3

So, apparently, a lot of people are giving me comments on how to stay with him... but I had already finished the game with the option of being his mistress (God, I'm evil. XD)

Why did you make alistar duel weapon?! He's a WARRIOR (Sword and shield) not a Rouge (Duel weapon)

I totally forgot why I had him duel wielding... I think I was just trying to give him better weps before the Landsmeet since I still didn't know who to pick to kill Loghain

This happened to me too.I was so heartbroken I didn't even take Morrigan's offer.(It would have made me feel worse) So,I just thought "I guess I'll be the sacrifice.What else do I got to loose?" Never thought I'd have a crush on a NPC.

its really depressing that i have a crush on not only book characters but video game characters. no matter how many times i play this game i will always squeal when alistair first kisses me with the whole "i fooled you then did i? good to know" and when he gives me the rose. no wonder all the guys i go out with disappoint me. i relate them to fiction characters. time to start living in reality. to bad i dont want to!

I balled my eyes out when this happened to me. And when he told me he loved me more than he ever thought possible I kinda wanted to cut his arse open and drain all his blood (Desire to all of a sudden turn bloodmage). The sight of me shaking my PC screen and deep desire to start kicking things about in my house while frantically asking "WHY!? WHY Alistair?!" is something I don't think my neighbours will soon forget.

I just wish there were an option to make the human male noble warrior the King of Ferelden. I mean, as Terryin of Highever he IS next in line to be King according to Ferelden law, not Alistair, and not Anora. Though I would still marry Anora anyway.

@Zetaindustries u get it by defeating the high dragon its the part right before you get the urn of sacred ashes then take it to wade in denerim and hell ask if u want a leather armor heavy chainmail or the armor alistar is wearing

its the regular plate armor at red steel, u can buy it at wades empirioum

you can use duel weapon as a warrior you know

This wont happen if you "harden" Allistair. After you meet his sister and hes sulking about it outside her door you have to tell him "Everybody's just out for themselves" or something like that, and his personality will shift a little and he stops being such a push over.
