Ive got a 1st gen Ipod touch with voice memos and a calculator..... How are they new features????

They are because it was part of the new 3.1.2 update that apple realseaed in semptember 2009 and those are the newest features for the ipod touch.... why would you get the update on a first gen you wouldnt even be able to use the voice memos even with an external mic?!?!?!

I'd recommend the 32 gb

It's cheaper, but it has less space. Thing about that is, I  almost completely doubt you'd full you'd fill all that space up.
