You don´t have to criticise this work.The song is open for whatever meaning they want to take out from it. Neverthelees, the true, at least what i read about this song, is that Bono had the inspiration to write it from a ex-classmate of school who had a kind of disease which was blocking his muscular activity. Medicine help him to recover the movement of his eyes and head, and since then, he started writing poems.He was several times awarded for his poems. Search for Christopher Nolan. Cheers!
