How many times have you seen people who tow a U HAUL trailer that clearly states that they should not go faster than 45 MPH or 55 MPH and the trailer is swaying just like this boat trailer is. Since 1975 over 15,100 people have been killed,, including 8 police officers, 2 Fireman and 1 FBI agent by "Passenger Cars That Tow Trailers" In addition Since 1988 over 450,000 people have been injured and over 750,000 things damaged just like this boat. Our Government has done nothing to address any trailer under 3,000 pounds. It is companies like U Haul and Carry On trailers that fight a good law in Virginia that requires $10.00 dollars of DOT type c-2 tape to be applied on the back because most of the time the lights do not work. best thing to do is speed up, because here the trailer is trying to faster than the truck and hitting brakes is worse, best if trailer had brakes but next best thing as b4 is to speed up so u are back in control.

Trailers are more subject to sway when there is not enough weight on the hitch. Maybe the boat's center of gravity was too far aft on the trailer.

U cant stop a trailer like that when it starts swayin like that u just have to let off the pedal and coast till it regains control

this cant be real...no flashing lights from the cop for the longest time, then no braking from anyone from the looks of it, until the very end. then when it finally flipped, id think the first thing would be to put the lights on, but that cant happen either..
