I Think JD is a good singer, but I think the big difference between them is (and sorry my poor english) the charisma , I think Mike had 1.000.000 more charism and was much more frontman that JD ,it´s not about the vocal skill..... .

I hope if you haven't seen them live with JD that you will give them a chance and go if you get a chance. JD actually is very charismatic in his own right. He isn't trying to be Michael -- just himself. PLUS -- They are all very talented and put on a hell of a show with a lot of awesome music.

If you have been to a concert with JD and it wasn't for you -- then fair enough, we can't all like everything the same. :)

I don't know about you guys but I thought By My Side was amazing. Maybe just me but I thought that was there best overall song.

Oh, By My Side.. I LOVE By My Side. You'll notice that's the only other song I kept taping on. :) Everytime I've seen them By My Side's been fantastic.

JD Fortune WAS the right choice made by INXS to being able to continue to share their music with the world. Michael would want his music to live on. Enough with the comparisons!

Imitations just don't work. This is proof. Big shoes to fill and you can't do it just trying to imitate. This guy needed to refresh the group. Otherwise he would always fall short as a Hutchence imitator.

Actually, I just watched it again, and let me say...I was wrong...J.D. Fortune has NO TALENT!. And looks like a 12 year old trying to be a cool, adult man!.

This is sad. I'm sure J.D. BY HIMSELF is talented in his own right. When you think of INXS...you think of Michael Hutchence!. The band should have honored Michael by retiring the name & if they wanted to continue making music...do it under a different name & back off from so many songs that MICHAEL HUTCHENCE SANG!. It's painfully embarrassing to watch this!.

@Retro80Lady30 I just saw them in June and they were really awesome! People need to see a live show before they judge.Plus this is what they love to do, its in their blood, its all they know. Why should they quit what they love because Michael is gone? Michael would never have wanted that. Kirk is a good singer,he was the lead singer before Michael.Michael took over because he was the only one who could not play an instrument. Andrew wrote most of the songs, they are all self taught talents.

To all the critics you have to remember this is recorded on a phone or something.They don't actually sound like this.I was at a concert in June and they sounded awesome! I then heard the same concert here and it was crap LOL! No JD is not Michael,but he has a great voice and helped put on a great show.

Lets just face it INXS is nothing without Hutchence. INXS will be gone with the sands of time but Hutchence music will live on. It just doesn't work when you play the same songs with different people. I would rather remember INXS the way they were before. They did enough and made great music they are a legend, and they don't need to keep making more.
