Cold Steel Triple Action - Yer Doing It Wrong

Its only flimsy while flipping. This knife and the balisong (AKA butterfly) are both very sturdy in the open and closed positions.
The Recon 1 is a very good knife as well, but it is standard as far as form and function go. The Butterfly and the Triple Action are more... complex, and fun to operate. Infact the butterfly's "flipping" can be used as a form of entertainment or art beacuase of its unique techniques. I do not know if the triple action can be used the same way but it probably can.

Anyone try a Tri-fold yet? Was thinking of procuring one. Any feedback appreciated.

Maybe try oiling it or loosing the screws?

It sure looks like a cool knife. Got to buy one of those.

I understand your video here. Ignore the little 5th grader retards that can't even dream owning this knife. And yes there is some problems opening this one handed. But ColdSteel will eventually fix this.

i had a cheap version of a jacob's ladder, and i found that opening it upside down never ever yielded a fumble of any sort.
and then i lost it, of course. sigh.

ive seen this knife in a store in a mall in canada. never on the cold steel website though. the store was selling it for a insane price and i held it,,,,but it felt cheap.

It seems like this one is actually faster than Balisong knives. I could be mistaken though.

**Serrated
No, the blade is not outside of normal tolerances at all. Your reading comprehension needs work. Like I said, in the future, reserve your comments for subjects about which you have actual knowledge. This video is part of a full review of the knife that appears elsewhere. If you're so attached to it, you need to let that go. It's a toy, not a serious self-defense blade.

"yer" the one doing it wrong, your blade should not be that loose. please dont post videos saying that its a bad knife when you have no clue what you are doing. this knife requires skill, which you obviously don not have

The blade isn't unusually loose at all; that particular knife hasn't even seen much use. In the future, reserve your comments for something you actually understand.
