in Asheville, NC at Bluegrass First Class February 14, 2009 with Junior Sisk on rhythm guitar, Elmer Burchett on banjo, Tim Massey on bass, Billy Hawks on fiddle, John Miller on mandolin and WYATT RICE on lead guitar.
I learned as much from studying that New Market Gap album as I did from anything else ever -- including most of Wyatt's version of this tune which eventually got me a gig with Frank Wakefield for a couple of years. In many ways Wyatt has been more of an influence on me than Tony and as much as Clarence White.

Wyatt is one of the coolest, most unassuming players that I've ever met. A major talent.
