what mine does, is the audio cuts out, then i get about 5 min. of gameplay before it freezes

DAMMIT..all my other games work but gta IV doesn't work on my 360 ive been trying to play for two days mostly it says that my disk is unreadable or to stick it in an xbox 360 console!! a few times it started to load but it freezes at the blue rockstar sign or where it says "GTA IV" someone please HELP ME ...I really want to play

Well I got my HDD for my xbox, and after I copied the game to my HDD no more Freezing:D

This happens to me when i play Left 4 Dead and GTA IV on my 360 someone said that it means your console is dieing is that true? And how do i fix the problems im on my third copy of GTA IV please help.

i am not sure what the problem was on the 360. i do know that R* didn't test the game on the first run ps3s, so if you have an older 360 i would say that is probably the same problem. R* claims there is nothing wrong with the game itself - even though they are the ones that didn't make sure thier game would work on all systems. i don't have any kind words for R*. well, that's not totally true. they did create san andreas after all, which is a much better game than gta4 anyway.

no. they were not able to give me a patch or any kind of fix - sony admitted fault. it had something to do with the chips they put in the first run of ps3s weren't compatible with the game, so sony sent me a new ps3. i was very fortunate though - some people had the same problem and were just shit outa luck. my heart goes out to them. i still blame R* for not testing the game on the first run ps3s. R* didn't care, so thanks to sony for stepping up to solve a problem they didn't cause

yeah, they came out in november and i got mine a couple of weeks before christmas
