  • Im also in the army. U will not have time for college and you will be deployed.

  • Damn, I wish I had someone to talk to me like this before I joined. I was in Air Force special ops for 4 years, and now I'm a veteran. Stefan was right about everything. If you have any moral compass you will hate yourself to some degree. Quite frankly I'm disgusted with the decision I made and who I have let myself become. This is beneath all the accolades and awards I have received. I'm trying to start over and become an entrepreneur and actually help people rather than ruin their lives now.

  • You shouldn't join the army because you need money you should join the army because you want to fight for your country.

  • a lot of what this guy is saying is not true...i am in the military, in no way happy with it and only plan to do my 4 yr contract...if anyone needs answers HONEST answers, plz message me.

  • and you have to wait 2 years before the GI bill kicks in...but even then you wont have time not even for night school!!!!

  • you wont have anytime for school. just a FYI...do the minimum years and get out, stay away from the infantry it sucksssssssssssssssssss

  • Play Modern Warfare - Join the Marines

  • At the risk of sounding condescending, reading your comment left me with the feeling you were trying to sell me a product that doesn't work. Aside from the obvious financial gain, the service doesn't offer any direction or motivation you couldn't find working swing shift at McDonald's.

Well of course it's not a brain washing facility. I mean that's the least of our worries right? Most of the state indoctrination takes place in elementary school. Take it from a person who comes from a military family. Combat changes people. Often times *not* for the better. I find this mantra that the service is the *only* place an individual can learn discipline and gain 'direction.' That's nonsense honestly. (cont)
