Kayaking down the Jordan river with Ilan and Gilad at 40+ cums. At this level the eddies on the Jordan are great! both of them :-) that means 15 km of none-stop action.

That's awesome, I'd love to check it out one day! I would imagine that the waters would calm themselves if that's where He was baptised =) That's a nice stretch of rapids, I wouldn't want to have to swim it! Do you paddle there frequently?

If you are refering to the Baptism of the "J" man then yes it is (Though he must have done it in lower flows:-). Actually the baptism section is asumed to be south the the sea of Galili, while the white water section is a 15 km gorge north to the sea of Galili. Very good section with almost no breaks!
