Now is a good time to recap the numbers you already know and learn the remaining numbers from one to ten in Mandarin Chinese. This will also enable you to tell the time of day, and arrange to meet someone at a given time.

Numbers in Chinese follow a simple and regular system. Once you master numbers 1 to 10, you will be ready to pick up higher numbers very easily. Numbers are a core part of the Chinese outlook on life, and here Dani pauses to explain the attributes of the different numbers. For instance, you will find out why the number 4 is considered unlucky, and the number 8 is considered lucky!
