Birthplace of Elvis Presley: Tupelo, MS

Everyone knows about Graceland, Elvis's grand mansion in Memphis, Tennessee. But to really understand who Elvis was you need to take a trip 75 miles south and visit Tupelo, Mississippi. You'll discover his birthplace, the church where he worshiped, the schools he attended, where he bought is first guitar and where his favorite hamburgers were made. It's a great tour.

i was born and raised in tupelo, mississippi... don't live there now but i surely do miss it's beauty... been to that park and to elvis presley's childhood home... love it! it only has two rooms.. you walk into the living room/bedroom area then you go into the next room which is basically the kitchen.. very interesting.. =)
