sort of...the first guitarist sounds like an encyclopedia of jazz guitar licks....good, but boring(is that one dave dana?) the bald guy is very creative and great, great chops and feel.i think it all really grooves fine.

Man..its never about the timing..its about how can u use that timing and turn it into a sweet groove..and let me tell u something..this guitarist have a great use of scales...as a matter of fact they are cool..on the first minutes..cause then their lack of groove just gets boring..

Dave Dana is my guitar teacher, he is great, but he uses the same scale patterns for almost every song we do. He is a strange but funny guy.

i don't some of these comments. the groove is awesome. both guitarists have great timing. listen to the 16th notes turn into 1/4 note triplets at 3:04 i think they may have metronomes. the trading 4's at 5:00 is amazing

we're cool no problem, each to their own. i personally dig hearing people confident enough to play behind the beat. right on itfeels stiff to me...this is the next level. listen to some andrew hill or even dexter.

Great ideas. Great lines. Great speed. Great guitar playing. POOR TIME. POOR. Daily metronome practice for years and brutal scrutiny of my guitar and drum playing from respected drummers tells me so. Zappr has no problem with you enjoying this clip but it feels so wrong to me. Time practice is often ignored by even the top guys.

dave dana played and recorded 2 albums with a human metronome named BUDDY RICH!! maybe zappr himself needs one. i love these people who comment knowing nothing of the genre.
