I would do it ! but I looked into fully powering my house by solar - 100% and in my area it would be like 90,000 dollars... who has that money.... they don't want you to be self sufficient america is a consumer based economy...self sufficiency is frowned upon too bad it would do a lot of good...

This is great if you live in a sunny area. I think it's a good idea if you can afford it-- and clearly this couple can afford traveling across the WORLD for a year with no jobs and looking for a home. For me, I just can't afford it. Impossible though it is great for the environment.
