THE INSIDE STORY

England win the Ashes in Australia 3-1, the first time since 1986/7 and now, for the very first time in cricket, an exclusive documentary featuring unseen footage and interviews filmed throughout the incredible 2010/2011 Ashes Series.

The 2010/11 Ashes Series: The Inside Story is a 90 minute feature length documentary examining the drama, intrigue and excitement that surrounded the 2010-11 Ashes series in Australia. By drawing on a wide range of different sources and perspectives, from players, commentators, journalists, fans including the Barmy Army, umpires and the back room staff, The Inside Story will get under the skin of the series and provide an all access view from inside and out.

This comprehensive documentary will incorporate a wealth of never before seen footage and behind the scenes action, and it will employ all the latest technology that surrounds and characterises modern cricket, from Stump Cam to Eagle Eye in order to tell fans and enthusiasts the complete story of the 2010-11 Ashes series.

An Ashes series is arguably the most intense and fascinating contest in world sport. Watched by millions of passionate fans across the globe, the Ashes is 25 days of hard fought sporting drama and competition stretched out across an entire summer. It is unique in its scope and depth. Like any ongoing, shifting sports narrative, the key characters involved in the Ashes rise or fall depending on skill, concentration and luck. One moment among so many can change the outcome of the whole series. One bad bounce or one dropped catch can deliver or end an entire career.

For the first time in a generation, the English team arrived in Australia with a genuine belief that it could win. The Australian side was in turmoil suffering its worst run of form in decades. It was set to be an epic battle where leaders would rise and fall and nothing would be taken for granted.

The Inside Story, is the comprehensive story of that battle, told by those that were there. In the history of Ashes cricket no program has sort to go this far into hearts and minds of all those involved in this grandest of sporting contests. Fans will know what it feels like to be part of the England and Australian teams as England battle to win the Ashes on Australian soil for the first time in 23 years.

In an Ashes series, cricket becomes more than just a game.

ASHES OFFICIAL HIGHLIGHTS

Gloriously and comprehensively, England won the 2010/11 Vodafone Ashes Series in Australia. It's been 24 years since England were on top, down under, but it was well worth the wait! It was a campaign cleverly prepared and brilliantly executed by captain Andrew Strauss, coach Andy Flower and their national team of heroes.

This is the definitive Official Highlights of England's comprehensive 3-1 triumph in the 2010/2011 Vodafone Ashes Series.

Alistair Cook, Man of the Series, mesmerised the Australians scoring nearly 800 runs in the series; Jimmy Anderson proved he is one of the premier fast bowlers in the world and from number one to eleven England outplayed Australia in every aspect of the game. Runs were scored, wickets were taken, and the records tumbled.

The first Test in Brisbane ended in a draw after Cook and Jonathan Trott tore into the Aussie attack with a record partnership of 329.

In Adelaide it was Kevin Pietersen who took centre stage with a double century as England won by an innings.

After a setback in Perth, back came England to dominate in Melbourne and Sydney and win both Tests, again by an innings -- another record!

In front of 20,000 joyous 'Barmy Army' fans, Chris Tremlett took the final Aussie wicket and the celebration really started.
England's victorious Ashes tour Down Under will live long in the memory of every English fan and player.
After almost a quarter of a century of losses in Australia, England has finally earned the bragging rights, the respect of the entire cricket-world ... and of course - The Ashes!
Over nine hours of incredible Ashes action -- the urn remains in England ... Enjoy!
