Absolute respect for the master(angola?) brillant technique and reverse back kick. anyone who has ever kumited properly would know this was a friendly match, look at the other sensei grinning during the fight. And if you have ever kumited a master, you can realize they are holding a lot back. don't ever challenge a karate master, kumite techniques are one thing, self defense is a whole other ball game. excellent demo.

@StillOnMars it's kiai. similar to how boxers expel gas after a power punch, it helps with breathing control, keeps your body in balance and gives a mental confidence of a stronger hit.

@LewisLad96 - Akihito Sensei is a 6th dan in Okinawan Goju Ryu. If what he does isn't Goju, I don't know what is. Now, it's true that it isn't Goju-kai or what some call "Japanese Goju," but his Goju is excellent, and these Canadian children are quite fortunate to have had the opportunity to see an actual Japanese master instructor in person.
