~Sadly, this is Oscar's last video~ (read all of the description for more info)

10/11/09 - The new 75 gallon tank is finally up and running and today it was ready for fish! All of these guys came into this tank from my 45 gallon and they love the new tank so far. I shot this video before we put the second filter on so just know this tank has dual filtration and filters just over 800 gallons per hour. The lighting is a just your regular florescent bulb but it looks great over the black gravel.

The fish(and their current size in this vid) in this tank include:

-Albino Tiger Oscar 6"
-Blood Parrot Cichlid 5"
-Firemouth Cichlid 4"
-Jewel Cichlid 3"
-Snakeskin Gourami 4"
-Senegal Bichir 5"
-a few tiger barbs 2" each

Rate and Comments are appreciated and thanks for watching.

Oh and please excuse the talking in the backround lol

*sadly this is Oscar's last vid. on 10/25/09 Oscar past away because while i was at school, he tried to swallow a smaller pleco in the tank and the pleco's spines got stuck in his throat and cased a lot of damage. I tried to do the best i could to help but the pleco got him good. Neither fish involved survived...Oscar will be missed, he never got to reach his full size and he died at about 7" long. *because of what happened, I dont recommend keeping plecos with oscars unless the pleco is more than half as big as the oscar.

  • @keithahargis well there is 2 of them now, and i dont know how many gallons they are rated for but they both filter 400 gallons per hour.

  • @BingX14 hey can u tell da size of your tank...??? in Lenght x bredth x hight....??? Plszz

  • @Usamha886 48 inches long, 18 inches deep, and 21 inches tall

  • you do realize the oscar is going to grow to be huge and will eat all the other fish in the tank, right? oscars can eat frogs, goldfish, and mice!!!!!!!! youtube is filled with videos of oscars eating really big things! i'm sorry but your tank is doomed, do your research!

  • @SailingMoominmama maybe someone should read the discription. this oscar died from choking on a pleco sadly. This video was also 2 years ago. The tank hasn't been like this since. I have a single red Devil in that tank now.
