We're running on a platform of your ideas. We've talked to students, we've researched, and we've come up with a platform that can and will happen next year.
But, don't let us be the ones to tell you.

Kaveh & Molly. Molly & Kaveh. Kally & Moveh. Regardless of how you say it, its still just the same. We're a team that just works together. We have vastly different expertise, but the fundamental backbone of how we work is exactly identical: "Take what you do seriously, but never take yourself too seriously".
We like to work and we love to see results. At the same time, we are two college students who embrace our (many) awkward tendencies and like to laugh while we work. It makes it easier, more enjoyable, and actually more efficient in the end of the day.
So, why are we running? First of all, this is a culture that we think needs to continue being cultivated within the Student Assembly. It needs to be an organization that is taken seriously, but doesn't take itself too seriously. We keep this lighthearted attitude to spur fluid action from the SA but also to make the Student Assembly more approachable to the larger student body.
We've already seen that this approach works. We launched a new website and began increasing internal accountability. We paved new roads of communication between the student body and the Student Assembly. We received over 100 direct inquiries and emails from parents and students alike, all of which were read, routed, and acted upon. We compiled thousands of survey results to make informed decisions of the student body. Now that the avenues to communicate with the SA are getting clearer and clearer, we want to transition the Student Assembly to a more collaborative relationship with the student body. Not only do we want to hear what you have to say, but we want to invite you to join us in making it happen. We want to give you the tools, be it funding, manpower, or administrative contacts, to make what you want to happen happen.
We have a couple ideas on where to start, which you'll find in our platform. But, we also understand that the student body and culture on campus is constantly transforming and that the structure of the SA needs to accommodate the eclectic and ever-changing fabric of this school, as its embodied through its students.
We want to be able to say, "So, do you have an idea? Then, Let's Do It."
