Speaker: FasterCures office in Washington DC is located in a wonderfully open urban space across from the 1940s Greyhound bus terminal. It is a nonprofit action group working to improve the efficiency of medical research. Seeking to maximize productivity and reflect the scope and diversity of their operations, FasterCures chose OTJ Architects to create a workspace that embodied their energetic company culture.

The reception and waiting area is welcoming and relaxed. Natural light pours through the conference room glass panels. Highlighted shelving displays line the wall; an accessory ceiling pops with vivid upholstery and bright colors.

To serve the clients' need for a large collaborative space for group work and discussions, OTJ composes fashionable media conference room outfitted with full audio visual technology.

Recognizing that the dynamic nature of the clients' operations called for a range of forms for group work, OTJ designed areas for individuals as well as teams for both formal and informal meetings.

Convenient overhead storage was included in all private offices as well as accent walls of brilliant colors to spark interest.

Employee workstations were outfitted with clean surfaces, metal filing systems and comfortable task chairs. Open office design encourages collaboration. Systems furniture with adjustable lightweight canopy partitions was added for additional privacy.
