I made this more for practicality, to allow people to identify/familiarise themselves with the Soviet gymnasts form each era. When I first got into gym I had such a hard time trying to keep track of them all. I got the idea from Sri Eas 'Romanian Gallery'.
The Soviets truly were the best team in history and there were so many great gymnasts that usally only the stars got noticed.

Love it..those day the girls are stunningly beautiful and graceful with magnificently elegant choreography. Nowadays its pure power.. who can jump highest, longest, with so and so many flips...almost robotic. Its more athletic yes but less artistic.

Hey I have a couple of questions, how did you manage to get the names appear in little black boxes? And two where did you get the Olga Korbut clips?????? I had never seen them before!!!!!!
