Benjamin McNeal, was diagnosed with ALS in August 2009. After several months of courageously battling this disease, Ben went home to be with Jesus on December 9, 2009. Ben used this trial as a platform to share the message of the gospel to hundreds of people and his story will continue on. His utmost concern was that God would receive glory from his life as his "lifesong sings to Him." He was an extraordinary young man who faithfully fulfilled the mission God placed before him and he finished the race well. (Heb. 12: 1-2)
Ben's life truly embodied his favorite verse. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go" (Joshua 1:9). Our God is faithful and good, and we worship Him as we weep over the loss of our brother.

Ben was a great guy. I only knew him through his brother Daniel, but I could tell he was a great guy. We will miss both Benjamin and Daniel. I am at peace knowing knowing that you two are together again. Rest in Peace Benjamin and Daniel.
