@Cimmantti You can watch the boss battle here in YouTube....maybe it WOULD be kinda weird to have it in there, but in his final smash he shouldn´t be much bigger that Giga Bowser. I was just thinking it might be kind of exotic to have him there, and 2D characters don´t seem to be much trouble for the developers since Mr Game&Watch..

I never said, simply colour changes would be clones, but "costumes" like Pichu would be,because of the shorter reach, etc.
The problem is,that even if the clones are not listed as seperate characters under the character select screen, they are still there and they would still take away space,it wouldn't be any different from clones as seperate characters.
It would be simply a difference how you select the clones, but in the end they are still clones

@altermann1991 ...Is Green mario a clone of red mario...probably... -_-
Not really seeing the dilemma here, lol.
...And, yes...I suppose it would be better to have clones as selectables UNDER the actual character selection instead of having them all take up a space...

@Cimmantti The big difference between these cameos is,that Mewtwo and Skull kid are actual characters, the players wouldn't see them as cameos(especially Mewtwo who is still one of the most popular and iconic pokemon).
And if special costumes are more like clones, they simply would be clones.
You said, those costumes would be included in order to prevent clones, but in fact, they are just a bunch of clones thrown into the roster.

@altermann1991 S. Mario, Mewtwo, and Skull Kid are like "cameo" characters...the VERY last 3 you get...without them, their series all have 5 characters...still the max, and these 3 are like "easter eggs."
Mewtwo, Zoroark, and Lucario, I have those 3, because everybody loves the pyshic, dark, fighting trio that was rumored to replace, Grass Fire and Water...
and so Pichu will have a shorter fighting range...costumes can have slightly different attacks...think of them as clones.

@Cimmantti Birod would still look weird and it would still give a small advantage.
And S.Mario takes away a spot, even in "your" game, since you could have included a different chara in your list instead of him, especially since its the mario series, which should have at least as much charas as Pokemon and Zelda.
And again, being creative doesn't mean being realistic,a realistic roster is a roster with only charas, that have a chance to be in the next game, not ones that do not have a chance

@Cimmantti Warios Bike is from the wario ware-series,not invented by brawl.
The problem with Ghirahim is,that he will most likely not be a recurring chara and he is also quite new(so he would steal older charas the place),so why should they include him and make up a moveset for him,if they would have to throw him out in the next game already?
Pichu is still too small as a pika-costume.I mean there was a reason for Pichu having the shorter attack range of the two.

@altermann1991 P.S...obviously Nintendo throws out characters ideas during development too... -_-
2 years along the line...this roster might just change...just like Nintendo's will...they don't just write a list...and stay true to it for 4 years...
What about Dimentio from SPM? He alredy has a cool set of attacks, awesome music, and his finnal smash could be turning into super-dimentio and all the plataforms would go black with white edges and with smiley faces on them...

@Salocinist The paper Mario guy?!?
Never heard of him, haha...I just looked him up right now...so....I don't know...he seems...awfully large, and unknown, but not even in a cool way... :p
I don't really want Paper Mario to be a big force in my game...
