It was much better ´than I thought it would be. I don't think I've ever felt as female as when watching this movie cos it woke my mother-instinct. I think it's a lesson for everyone that marriage should be based on trust and sharing.
It's honestly one of my favorite movies. It's sorta slow, but it keeps making you think she's either crazy from being pregnant, or there really is a satanic cult trying to get her baby.
That's the magic of the ending. The fact that they didn't explain everything by showing us the baby. It was a great decision to not give us a glimpse of it. You have to leave it to your own imagination how the baby looked like. This is a intelligent horror movie. Go watch a different horror if you want to see monsters.
I don't think RoseMary's Baby is a horror movie, more of a psychological thriller. I loved the movie btw, and some people wanted to see the baby. Did I want to see blud and guts and such like today's movies? No. A simple pair of eyes in the shadows of the carriage would have been good enough. I just wanted a more interesting ending, though I do agree it does leave a lot to the imagination.
Yes, it's fitting to call it a psychological thriller. But i did say "intelligent" horror though. Nah, i do not agree, the endig coulden't have been better.
