yes tubas are a proud breed indeed and rightfully so if you can master a tuba you could probably ace most other brass instruments
...this is coming from a sax player of 12 years 2 lol

to play CC you finger the note 1 whole step below the note written. Ex: to play Bb you just push the first valve like an Ab.

All the fingerings are a whole step down. For example your concert F, which is played open on a B flat tuba, would be fingered first valve on a CC.

most definetly indeed, the tuba is a magnificant instriment. a lot of the time the tuba is looked at as a stupid backround instriment. but if your able to play the instriment you know the potential and beaty it can produce - fellow tuba player
