wow that's stupid. everyone knows the higher seed should always get to host. if they tie, then they go to the other team's place to play a replay.

god, the people who built blackbaud stadium in charleston, or the old fall river marksmen stadium, have to be head-shaking at every mention of crew stadium being the first soccer-specific stadium.

Seems like a lot of people don't understand how USOC works. Top 6 teams from MLS aren't on this bracket because they are qualified already. These brackets are to qualify into the tournament. So, Chicago, LA, Houston, Columbus, Chivas, and Seattle are already in the round of 16.
USL/NASL II teams or any other team will also have play-in matches, but they will have more because they are lower division.
Hope that clears things up a little.

this is stupid, what's the point of finishing higher than a team if you don't get any benefits? the higher seed should have hosted each game.
