UP Trains in East TX 7/3/2009 Part II + NS OP Lifesaver||Tripod+480p

This is the second part of a two part series of train videos taken along the UP Mineola Sub on July 3, 2009. We start off in Edgewood, TX where we observe a UP MOW crew doing a track inspection run in a hi-rail truck at about 2 PM. Then at 2:51 PM, we catch a UP manifest with one heck of a lashup as I've ever seen on a UP train: how about three Norfolk Southern Catfish up front - with a 25th Anniversary Operation Lifesaver leader, complete with a beautiful K5LA horn; a UP SD70M, and an HLCX GP38-2 thrown on the tail of the motive power for good measure! About an hour later, a long UP autorack/intermodal combo drags by with a good horn show from the GEVO leader. Finally, we head over to just west of Wills Point, where we catch a gondola train with a Texas & New Mexico Railway SD9043MAC third-in-tow. That'll do pig, that'll do.

Motive Power: UP 5254 (ES44AC), UP 4518 (SD70M), UP 4646 (SD70M) & UP 7795* (ES44AC, DPU)
