"Fairy Tale" (Wang Fei)

Since I refused to fly to Beijing to meet the program directors of a national entertainment program, I was asked to record the English version of "Fairy Tale" (传奇 by 王菲) on the Stick. They wanted to hear what I sound like. So this is it. The English version is probably by "Michael Learns to Rock", a band I haven't heard of before.

I recorded all of it today and didn't bother to make it look like I played it all simultaneously.

Hydrogen Faux 808 Kit

@glaysdevilwings 谢谢! 学chapman stick不是很难。我以前会弹吉他。chapman stick的右手原理跟吉他差不多。买stick的时候我也订了­emmett chapman的书“Free Hands”。这样学习没有困难 ：）

your english version is very good, much better than the Chinese version. i guess it needs some practice to improve the Chinese version. not bad for a non-Chinese speaker, though. you need to sing louder in chinese and give a bit more rhythm.

@lajabo0009 thanks; the phrasing and the volume of the Chinese segment was meant to be this way; the clip I was asked to record had ended with the last English part. I wasn't quite sure if it was obvious enough for the intended audience what my version is based on, so I overdubbed the faint Chinese part as an afterthought.

"The MLLR english version does not do the justice of Li Jian's "Legend". This Danish band do not know anything about chinese. Your chinese version is good, however, short. you need to understand the story behind the lyrics of this song:
