Wish I could go back to that time again. Although even then life wasn't perfect, it was about as close to it as can be expected. No computers, cell-phones, video games or other bullshit. Your bicycle was your best friend and you had to use your imagination to do things, and you had to actually TALK to people in person. 8-Track tape players were all the rage, and music was performed using REAL instruments with no electronic foolery, and bands all dressed nicely together.
Those were the days . . .

@zoeymsi182 vice president nixon and family were there for the opening day of the monorail. after the ribbon "cutting" they took off on an unscheduled ride. the secret service guys were caught off guard,and were left behind at the monorail station. when the monorail returned the agents ran toward it, but the nixons wanted to go around again (it only went around the sub lagoon at first),and the secret service guys could only watch as walt and the nixons rode past them on the platform.
