Montyloree,I agree 100 percent. I can't believe how stupid people are cutting up their credit cards (basically blaming the credit card companies and shifting the blame). If you budget your finances properly and live within your means, then credit cards can even be a great benefit. CC's are merely purchasing tools. I barely use cash. I budget, charge EVERYTHING on my credit cards, pay off the entire balance when due. I'm never charged interest, and I get hundres of dollars in cash back rewards.

if people can't help spending, then they need to be in trouble.... look around you... lack of consumer discipline is causing problems. it's time to discipline ourselves and live within our means.. like our grandparents did.
