Matthews shocking truth

Here is video of MSNBC's Chris Matthews interviewing New York Governor David Patterson after last night's final Presidential Debate between Barack Obama and John McCain. Matthews mentions some of McCain's bi-partisan work and then asks Patterson to name something Obama has done that is bi-partisan. Patterson could not think of anything -- because there is nothing! Priceless!

Among other things he wrote and introduced a nuclear proliferation bill with Sen. Luger (R). Mr. McCain, Mr Biden and Mr. Obama all have distinguished accomplishments in their educations and their careers.

And the others you mentioned do have distinguished accomplishments and it as wise of you to piggyback them behind that one thing that he worked on to try and ride him in on their coat tails but it simply will not be enough to give hime the credentials he needs. If he wins my dear - it will be just as much a stolen election as Bush's was and 16 stolen years does not a Democracy make- what a miserable mess American Democracy has become! We need to decide not them.

To equate the possibility of an Obama win to the disgrace of the 2000 election farce is a stretch. But I whole heartdly agree the electoral system is a complete and utter mess that allows for too many discepancies and questions, it is hurting democracy and every effort should be put forth to fix it.
