Ritual for connection and appreciation (Round 5b)

"This is an exercise that is helpful to people who do not have enough time to give to their warm up program to reestablish the bond on a daily basic wih their horse.
This is a ritual for connection and appreciation.
Go into your horses home and share the moment doing nothing and focus on reconnect and how much you appreciate your horse. Give it five minuets and then walk around in your horses space in a gentle way for two minuets. Then ask your horse to move around in his space 8 steps or less and then say thank you and walk around your horse respecting his personal space then repeat. Then stand close and feel the connection grow and then take your horse to the thing you were wanting to do with him and you should notice an better connection for that day. in my book this exercise is called repicoal movements. This exericese will activate the bond.

You don't have to be a mastermind trainer, just have empathy, true love, compassion, respect and treat them with dignity. They respond always to this. Sometimes it takes time but it is way worth it. Horses respond to touch, a true loving touch. They will love you for life and respect you more when you treat them in this way. This is how you have truly happy horses, too.

This was a really moving peace of footage. I like this concept of allowing them to come to us in their own time. In todays society when we are pushed for time we can forget to take more time for them.
