@Sonicthehedgehog73 youhaven't listened closely enough
-
There is no death.... This is right now as dead as you are ever going to be...
-
the presentation started great, and towards the end..well I kind of lost the idea of how to get completely free and full of love form his point of view even.
-
At first the idea of consciousness being all inclusive is frightening - incestuous almost - but gradually, as the realisation dawns that we are only apparent individuals living in our separate organisms, a true appreciation of ego and oneness takes over and nothing is lost and everything gained.
-
@ThrashTash as long as you try you will fail. don't try, don't even concern it.
-
This is truly a powerful message... I feel like his words move my spirit.
Thankyou for sharing.

To be totally FREE, unconditionally. Free from fear, from the fear of religion, of belief, of God, of society and of Death. For death is part of Living, of simultaneous ending and beginning. He wants us to be FREE, to be totally FREE. And that is Life which is a Meditation.. Lawrence Lai = philippines

wtf has this to with Love and Freedom by J. Krishnamurti? I don't get it...sorry.
-
i fear it is easier said than done to detach your ego,
there is no love with out a sorrow to compare it too,
i agree with his views but it makes me think, yeah he is right, i better change but the task is so big a task it almost seems impossible and i ask myself, is he totally loving?
dosnt he have any material desires?
i suppose all you can do is try ur best,
Love & Meditate

this is egotistical and self beneficial. What a superficial person.

K is a symbol of the promise in us all. There were no sort of right of wrongs. Truth was not sort of truth. Reality is what it is, whether we care for what we discover of it or not. Many try to shoot the messenger when the message goes close to the bone of greedy, self centred, 'havingness' of wanton desire. None of these are 'wrong' but hiding their obesity in our being will not lead to balance. The USA is suffering and that suffering is completely avoidable. YOU can positively change by Love
-
Regardless, it won't mean anything to the individual who is free of fear if he is not. How K was is a side issue from the task that we each face. That is that each one of us must bring an end to his own accumulation of fear. If not, then our entire life will just be a movement from fear to desire and back to fear again. The result of which is the whole sale destruction of nature which we ourselves are a part. If we do end our fear then real love can blossom and heal this world.

words cannot describe ..... Thank you for posting this. At the end (of all my attachments, fears, desires, deep seated motivations)...... love - IS -.

I'm afraid FarmingtonHill is right...K was not free of fear. There were two distinct personalities living in his body.Unfortunately i'm too young to have met him so i can't have a personal opinion on the matter...but psychologist Ravi Ravindra who knew K for more than 20 years is pretty enlightening on the matter...K in his private life had NOTHING to do with K of his public talks...which is not "bad"...it doesn't degrade the importance of his teachings ! ;)
-
FarmingtonHill, for you to say that, "nobody has changed listening to his talks" implies that you have met and talked with everyone who has listened to J Krishnamurti in the world. Obviously you have not met everyone who has listened to K so your statement is a false assumption and a huge generalization.
Krishnamurti lived a life free of fear because he realized with his whole being that there is no "self" or "ego"; that there is only God and that he is THAT, so there is nothing to fear.
This is one of the few people in the world where I listened to every word and sentence he was saying for over an hour, and still didn't know what the hell he is talking about. All questions and no answers.

And you still agree or disagre...I have seen some coments like "k was not real, and true because he was "different" on his daily living".
My question is: How can you discover yourself, I mean the whole movement of life, If you don't live?
It's a fact that the man one time felt fear, that he had ran after the plesure and so on...
bcause to know what is what you need to feel it right? No question that he had suffer, that he had pleasure...But who knows what he ffelt?
