@Mekelsior i dont mean to impose on your ignorance, but im 46 years old and have been studying since i were 9 years old,and i think its you who need to study carefully, not me,but you...you should pray to jehova through jesus christ for guidence...not the archangel michael, but through jesus christ.
The Christian doctrine of the Trinity states that there are Three persons that make up the ONE GOD. If you believe that Jesus is an angel, then you must believe that the Father & Holy Spirit are angels also. Jesus states, He & the Father are ONE (Jo.10:30)
If you've seen Me, You have seen the Father. (John 14:9)
Continue believing your corrupt doctrine of Jesus being Michael, but don't you dare claim you are a Christian. That belief is going to damn you for all eternity.
@fisherofmen0 The text says, the First of the Princes. So it makes a distinction of the chief princes. Even Lucifer is called the Prince of Darkness, while Jesus is the Prince of Peace. So yeah, there is a distinction, you just need to study carefully. :)
@katpiering123 My understanding is shaped by Scripture too, so clearly we have a different understanding of what Scripture is revealing. No, I have not a wrong understanding of what Angel means. I just make the point, that when you see the word Angel, you automatically think it means Created. Angel means Messenger, that is all. There are some Angels that are Created, and One Angel that Creates. That is the Angel of the Lord, who I believe is the only Archangel that the Bible speaks of, Jesus.
being identified as one of a group, even of princes,is not a discription of jesus...
such an interpretation would clearly contradict the remainder of the bible, wich refers to jesus as a single unique being---the christ,(messiah)and the only son of god....!! halahlujah..!!
@Mekelsior My understanding is shaped by Scripture only. So if we have different understandings on the subject of archangel, what the word means for instance. Then one of us must be wrong if we dont agree. you said for instance archangel does not mean angel. Did you miss the angel part in archangel?archangel means chief angel. check your strongs concordance if you dont agree with me. and angel means messenger. If you think it means other stuff, your neglecting Scripture.
@digger629 Now as for exegesis. It is written that the Devil want to make his throne in the north, and higher than the stars of heaven. Which star did he want to become higher? And why was that wrong.. why did the devil want to make a throne in the North and why make himself higher than all the stars of heaven. Think about it,. maybe you will begin see the bigger picture here.
@digger629 I'm sorry, there is no fallacious argument with what I'm saying, you just don't understand what I'm saying. I have tried several times to help you guys get it. Archangel, does NOT mean Angel, nor does it mean Created. So to say that the Archangel is a mere angel, is completely misunderstanding how words are being used, words have meaning you know. The Devil is the most powerful created angel, Michael is the most powerful being. So no, the devil was NEVER and will NEVER be higher.

@digger629 I also see that you allow Jesus to be the "angel" of the Lord, but not the "Archangel" of the Lord.. why is that?
