Torn Card Trick

Our fellow housemate Jason always shows us magic tricks at home. I figured, why not show him to the world? I got the tech-savvy, he's got the magic! This is a trick he learned by the famous illusionist Daniel Garcia.

First off I'll let you know that I too perform this on a daily basis about 90 times a day. So this isn't coming from some amatuer.

Two, I have to say, compared to the other people on YouTube presenting this effect.... my man... you are good. Your technique was almost flawless. Very good.

The only downside was your patter. I personally believe you don't need that much patter since the trick is self-explanatory. Look at Daniel Garcia's version... the guy is silent the entire time!

People that say he used tape is wrong. I think your kinda of forgetting that he gave her the card and she examined it. There was no tape.

I think it's packing tape, but I'm not sure. At 1:46 the card seems to reflect way to much light for a normal playing card, sort of like packing tape does. Very good either way though.
