  • i would think you'd be using some oil when milling like that.

  • @tabrown05, Yes you are correct. If I were running a program I would use cutting fluid. I didn't want to spray oil on my video camera.

  • if you're cutting aluminum, you should be feeding a lot faster..

  • Hi Saskquatch,

    My speed is limited by the controller and power supply, too much speed equals not enough torque.

    In a perfect world someone would sell a nice small spindle that has lots of torque and low rpms but I have yet to find one. That would be the best way to cut aluminum and flood coolant as well.
