  • Thanks for this, its just too marvelous...Can u help with a problem. I think i mistakenly locked my character movement control, so whenever i click on the control, it all goes ashe and unmoveable, please reply me if you have any idea on how to unlock it so its all moveable..Cheers!

  • is paint no

  • Once you have mastered this workflow you will be a Jedi, it is the process of the pro's.

  • Yah, as for modeling, not really much I can tell ya. Just grab Zbrush and start sculpting, then when you understand that you will need proper TOPOLOGY for the character to bend rite, make sure to download 3d COAT somewhere.

Its the best re topology program out, and you can use the demo for full re-topo.

    So it goes

Make base model with Zspheres in Z-brush, retopologize in 3dCoat, back to Z for final detail and facial expressions, then use setup machine in maya to get a full rig, then animate

  • @ChimeraProd thanks man

  • @dejakhalz

K DL a plugin called The Setup Machine 2, then you can rig a full body with the click of a button in Maya.

Then download digital tutors tutorial for Making Blend Shapes with Zbrush, then you can model all your facial expressions without even rigging.

Next there is a plugin called StretchMesh, for maya, which basically iliminates the need to paint weights.

With these 3 combined, you can be new to 3d n still animate.

Finally, grab the digitals tutor dvd on intro to animation
