  • goodness.. you guys are so fast.. and your seating arrangement is a bit weird.. =/

  • Why is that?

  • i guess i'm used to drumset being in the top left corner of the band along with the percussion section.. all the woodwinds including saxophone section in front, trumpet and trombone section in the last row, trumpet being on the left, lower brasses on the right side of the band, behind the flute section, and french horn on the left, behind clarinet section..

  • You're right, most orchestras are set like that. My guess is that the space was limited. Not sure, I'm not the director :p but we always play like that.

  • We played this in band a few months ago, and it was difficult to learn, but it had a fats learning curve. One of my favorite pieces. This is a good performance. Lovely.

  • Thanks for your comment. This is one of my favourite pieces so far too.

  • we sit a little different to that, going from left to right: flutes and horns behind them, trumpets along the back, lower brass next to them, saxes and clarinets on the right, and percussion at the back...

  • ouh alright.. it's pretty interesting, though.. it's just that it'll be difficult to rotate the parts around, i guess..

  • I absoutly love this peice. My band played it about 3 years ago. It taught me how to double tongue lol. Wonderful performance!
